NeverSoft™ automatic air pressure regulator for Zodiac inflatable boat and RIB
The NeverSoft™ automatic air pressure regulator is a smart valve cap that automatically monitors and maintains the air pressure in the tubes and buoyancy chambers of your Zodiac inflatable boat or RIB. The cap replaces the existing valve cap and automatically tops up air when needed.
This keeps your Zodiac better pressurised, reduces how often you need to check or top up manually, and makes the boat ready for use more quickly. Ideal for Zodiac inflatable boats and RIB’s that are stored outdoors, used regularly, or are sensitive to pressure changes due to temperature, sunlight and weather conditions.
Automatic air-pressure management for your Zodiac
The air pressure in an inflatable boat or RIB changes continuously. Sunlight, temperature differences, evening cooling and changing weather conditions directly affect the pressure in the air chambers. A boat that seems properly pressurised in the morning may feel softer later in the day or after a cold night.
The NeverSoft™ valve cap helps correct this automatically. The cap measures the pressure in the air chamber, registers pressure differences, and automatically adds air when needed. This keeps the tubes better pressurised and means you’ll need to use a foot pump or electric pump less often.
The NeverSoft™ cap works fully automatically. As soon as the cap detects pressure, the system switches on. When no pressure is detected, the cap switches off automatically. So you do not need to switch the cap on or off manually.
Suitable for current Zodiac semi-recessed valves
This version is suitable for the current Zodiac semi-recessed valves. The NeverSoft™ air pressure regulator is available in light grey and black, so you can choose the colour that best matches your boat.

Adjustable maximum pressure up to 3.5 PSI
The NeverSoft™ caps are pre-programmed as standard to a maximum pressure of 2.0 PSI. In addition, the caps can be set to 2.5 PSI, 3.0 PSI or 3.5 PSI. This makes the cap suitable for various Zodiac inflatable boats and RIB’s.
For the best results, we recommend inflating the boat’s air chambers close to the specified maximum pressure before installation. The NeverSoft™ cap can then measure the pressure, learn it, and automatically regulate it.
Self-learning system that adapts to the environment
The cap switches on automatically as soon as it detects a pressure from approximately 0.50 PSI. After installation, the NeverSoft™ air pressure regulator starts measuring the air pressure and recognising the conditions in which the boat is used or stored.
During the first few days, the system learns how tube pressure changes due to sun, temperature, cooling and storage under, for example, a cover. After that, the caps can keep the air chambers at a more consistent pressure and automatically top up when needed.
Integrated solar panel
The NeverSoft™ air pressure regulator features a built-in solar panel that charges the internal battery via sunlight. This means the cap is designed for standalone use without an external power supply.
For the initial installation, we recommend placing the caps in direct sunlight for at least one day. If the boat is outside in the sun, the caps can also be fitted directly on the boat.
Built-in overpressure protection
For added safety, the NeverSoft™ air pressure regulator is fitted with an integrated 4 PSI / 280 mbar overpressure valve. This helps prevent overpressure in the air chamber and provides extra assurance during use.
Better performance and less wear
A properly inflated tube contributes to the performance, stability and handling of your Zodiac. When the tubes stay at the correct pressure, the boat sits more stable on the water and the hull can do what it was designed to do.
Constant air pressure also helps reduce unnecessary load and wear on tubes and floats. This means the NeverSoft™ cap not only improves ease of use, but also helps preserve your boat.
Ideal for boats left outside or stored under a cover
The NeverSoft™ valve cap is ideal for boats that are left outside for longer periods, remain in the marina, or are stored under a boat cover. Even when air pressure temporarily drops due to cooling, the system learns to recognise the boat’s normal pressure pattern.
When the cap detects that the pressure is consistently too low, it can automatically add air. This means your Zodiac is better prepared for when you want to get back on the water.

Installation advice
Before installation, place the NeverSoft™ caps in direct sunlight for at least one day so the internal battery can charge properly. If the boat is outside in the sun, the caps can also be placed directly on the boat.
Before installation, preferably bring the boat’s air chambers close to the specified maximum pressure. After fitting, the cap will start measuring and regulating. Please note that the system needs a few days to properly learn the conditions of the boat and the environment.
NeverSoft™ valve cap user instructions

Charge the caps: before installation, place the NeverSoft™ valve caps in direct sunlight for at least one day so the internal battery can charge sufficiently.

Inflate the boat beforehand: bring the boat up to the air pressure specified by the manufacturer. NeverSoft™ caps are not designed to inflate a completely empty air chamber from zero.

Install the cap: remove the original valve cap and replace it with the NeverSoft™ cap.

Automatic activation: once the cap is installed, it automatically detects the air pressure. The pump will briefly switch on and the indicator lights will flash.

Set the desired pressure mode: when the cap is installed for the first time, the indicator lights will flash a number of times to show which pressure mode is currently set. Remove the cap while the lights are flashing to activate programming mode. Each flash sequence lasts about 15 seconds, after which the next pressure mode is shown.
- Flashes 1 time: Mode 1 – 2.0 PSI / 140 mbar
- Flashes 2 times: Mode 2 – 2.5 PSI / 170 mbar
- Flashes 3 times: Mode 3 – 3.0 PSI / 205 mbar
- Flashes 4 times: Mode 4 – 3.5 PSI / 240 mbar
Refit the cap onto the valve while the lights are flashing at the desired pressure mode. The LED indicators will then flash again to confirm the selected setting.

Ready to use: the NeverSoft™ cap is now set. The system monitors the air pressure and automatically tops up when necessary.
Note: check your valve type
This NeverSoft™ pressure regulator is only suitable for the current Zodiac semi-recessed valves. Therefore, check in advance which valve type is fitted to your boat. If you are unsure, we will be happy to help you verify the correct version.
