Replaceable tubes for Zodiac PRO OPEN RIB
New Zodiac PRO OPEN tubes are designed for Zodiac’s patented, removable buoyancy system. This allows the tube to be replaced completely without modifications to the hull or the boat’s layout. A new tube supports both the appearance and the performance of the PRO OPEN RIB.
When to replace?
Replacing the tube is appropriate when the current tube:
- is worn due to intensive use
- is damaged by prolonged UV exposure or unsuitable cleaning products
- is discoloured or no longer matches the desired appearance
- no longer maintains the correct air pressure
- needs renewal
By replacing only the tube, the service life of the RIB can be extended without replacing the entire boat.
Installation and system
The PRO OPEN system is developed for ease of maintenance. We recommend:
- carrying out the installation with at least two people
- arranging additional help for longer models
- carefully checking the model, year of manufacture and version in advance
Accurate positioning of the tube is necessary for a correct fit and secure attachment.
