Replaceable tubes for Zodiac MEDLINE RIB
New Zodiac MEDLINE tubes are designed for modular replacement of the float without modifications to the hull. The MEDLINE series is known for comfort and space, combined with the patented, removable Zodiac float system.
By fitting a new tube, the MEDLINE RIB retains its handling characteristics and the boat regains a well-kept appearance.
When to replace?
Replacing the float is appropriate when it is:
- worn due to use or age
- damaged by impacts, UV exposure, or leaks
- discoloured or has become dull
- unable to hold sufficient air pressure and can no longer be repaired
- no longer matches the desired look of the RIB
With a new tube, the MEDLINE remains safe, stable, and reliable for use.
Installation and system
Zodiac uses a removable system, making tubes technically replaceable. We recommend:
- working with at least two people
- using extra help for longer models such as Medline 6.8 and Medline 7.5
- carefully checking the model, year of manufacture, and serial number in advance
Accurate positioning is necessary for a correct fit.
